Hard Rock - Heavy Metal
Zachary Evan Treby (born April 16, 1983) is a American musician, songwriter and record producer. He founded heavy metal band "The Zac Treby Project" its primary songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist.
Recording and touring as a professional drummer and musician for more than fifteen years with numerous acts, he currently secures the drummers chair with THE SHOTS band and Natural Elevation.
After building his career, Treby was determined to start his own music projects. He soon assembled a band under the name ZTP and started recording the album "Reconstruction" in 2018. Since then, he has six more albums worth of music under the "Reconstruction Sequels" under his own independent record label, Z.E.T. Records.
Trebys' other solo albums are a mix of featured varying lineup of supporting musicians. Along with ZTP, his other project currently in the works under his name "Zac Treby" is a mix of alternative-hard Rock, a lighter musical outlet from his current heavier sound. The project began with a series of songs, each written in a different style. Treby continues to record and gig, and plans to release the current Reconstruction material as well as the other solo records, with a plan to bring it to the stage.
Trebys' production style, featuring a heavily multitracked sound has been compared to Devin Townsend, Metallica and Dream Theater. Treby's' musical style is rooted in hard rock heavy metal, alternative and progressive rock, and his albums are written to express different aspects of his musicality.
